Andalusian Horses
Equi-Ads South Central, June 2000

Kuchina Johnson is the daughter of the internationally known horse trainer, Brassy Searle. Although she comes from a very large family, Kuchina is the only one that constantly worked with her father unti1 his retirement, thus gaining the knowledge and trade secrets of generations of equine trainers. When Brassy obtained the contract for the Tia-Maria advert, using a white horse he bred, owned and trained, it was Kuchina that was galloping across the desert, in the guise of the Sheikh. One of her first television appearances was at the age of 10 years, with Mike Reid of ‘Eastenders' fame on ‘Runaround', presenting some of her father's Andalusian horses; she has given ‘Haute d'Ecole' displays at most major show grounds.

Together with her father Kuchina has been the subject of many television documentaries and their horses have been used whenever an unusual stunt is required. This season will be the first appearance in public of a new young horse ‘Suerte' purchased from her father at the age of 14 months. Suerte is now in his 4th year and performing ‘Haute d'Ecole' like a veteran. To quote Kuchina, "Dad said he would he a good pupil." Kuchina is willing to discuss any display or performance required without obligation and she can be contacted on 01420 478106.
